i mean, really, it started a few days ago when i flew to boston for a few days' cooldown, relaxing, and catching up with karla, dan, and their ridiculously adorable baby daughter. after arriving at ridiculous o'clock, to a shocking reminder of boston humidity (ugh), i was lucky enough to accompany them as baby-carrier on a house-hunting expedition the next day. it's so awesome to see karla and dan as parents - though, oh man, it's so scary to watch us be all adult-like, married with kids and houses? who would've thought we'd be here already? (some of us, anyway...)
and then, what would a visit to boston be without a wellesley mini-reunion? sara and keith, jacquie, melanie and i met up for traditional drinks at border in harvard on wednesday night, then kate and sara and i met up for lunch yesterday - berkeley reunion love :) it's hard to believe that it's really been two years since i've been back in boston... it can't feel like that long. but... it is. and as much as i thought it wouldn't happen, boston just doesn't feel like home anymore. boston will always have pieces of my heart, and so many good friends and memories, but seattle is home.
